Editorial Policy

Kava Finders is an independent directory. Editorial content is produced under published standards and evidence-checked before publication. Affiliate relationships do not influence editorial judgment.

1. Independence

We do not accept payment for favorable coverage, placement in directories, rankings, or Noble Verification badges.

2. Medical review

Clinical, pharmacological, safety, and harm-reduction content follows the published review process.

3. Noble-kava default

We consistently recommend noble cultivars over tudei. The historical FDA advisory cases were linked disproportionately to tudei and solvent-extracted products. We frame brands and products accordingly.

4. Source standards

Primary: peer-reviewed studies, WHO reports, Vanuatu Kava Council materials.
Secondary: Kava Society and Kava Wiki, ethnographic sources, reputable news.
We do not cite anonymous forum threads as authoritative.

5. Affiliate separation

6. Corrections

Errors corrected promptly with in-place notes for material changes. Report via contact.

7. Retailer listings

Kava bar data is aggregated from Google Places. Inclusion is not an endorsement. Bar owners can submit or claim a listing.
