Help you find legitimate kava near you, compare verified brands, and understand the pharmacology before you drink.
Kava bars are one of the fastest-growing categories of social third spaces in the US. New lounges are opening in cities that have never had them, anchored on Florida's twenty-year head start and the broader Pacific Islander cultural tradition.
KavaFinders is the independent directory that maps that landscape. We don't sell kava. We don't take listing fees from bars. Our directory is editorial — listings are added based on real-world presence and consumer-search demand, and our reviews are written by editors with no commercial relationship to the bars covered.

How we evaluate brands.

Transparent sourcing
Is the cultivar (noble vs tudei) disclosed? Harvest region, kavalactone content, extraction method?

Honest labels
Kavalactone milligram content per serving stated. No vague "proprietary blend" marketing.

Independent reviews
Brands added based on market footprint and consumer-search demand. No paid placement.

Channel separation
Brands that combine kava with restricted ingredients are listed in a separate, clearly labeled section of the directory rather than blended with the primary kava-bar coverage.

Disclosure default
Affiliate disclosure is on every page that contains an affiliate link. Editorial decisions are documented; methodology is published. We list brands based on market footprint, not on commercial relationships.
Editorial independence
No brand has ever paid for placement or altered a review.
